Menelaus N5 (also referred to as the city of Eurytheme) is an archipelago city located near the Bermuda Triangle in the Atlantic Ocean. The dwellers of the land believe that their ancestors had created Menelaus N5; a lone planet in the ever growing starry sky. Eurytheme is shrouded in mystery; a thick fog covering the landscape.One Eurythemian, a child by the name of Diana Morphos had a dream. She had wished for the prettiest, flashiest wings in all of Eurytheme. In their land; it is common for a child to receive their wings after their 10th birthday. Diana had hoped her wings would sprout sooner so she could start making memories with friends and family to fill them with a constellation of beautiful, shining stars.Diana’s parents, Anthene and Argus had joked that their child would be too impatient and her wings wouldn't come any sooner. On her 10th birthday, a surge of mana comparable to that of the wizard everyone had looked up to, Colias Croceus and sprouted wings. Although her wings were small, they held a deep blue color that faded to a lighter shade at the base. Diana had an inferiority complex with her twin sibling, Cassius, as they had gotten their wings before Diana and had already accumulated a few perfect stars of all sizes of their own.Every new moon, Diana would ask her parents for permission to go to Earth since she was a little girl. The day of her 18th birthday, full of vigor and despite the lack of sleep, she'd had finally asked her mentor; the Queen of her planet, Danaus Auros at the Tree of Enlightenment, for her blessing to visit Earth at least once to experience life there to gain more shiny, beautiful stars to decorate her wings with. With a no (for now) from her majesty, Diana understood; although she had struggled since she was a child with the blankness of her wings compared to her parents' and twin, as they all had gorgeous, brilliant wings in comparison to the young girl.Queen Danaus questioned Diana's understanding of why she wanted her wings to shine so brightly, as even the smallest amount of stars were heavily respected in their city of Eurytheme. With a shallow understanding of her wings, Diana simply didn't want to feel forgotten compared to her family, and hence wanted to fit in with them. The Queen had told Diana to take her time getting the stars on her wings, and not to rush as she was quite impatient."The true meaning of your wings lies not within beauty, fame, or accomplishment. And by design, they are not something you can obtain by rushing. You need to take your time to think deeper, You shouldn't want your wings to sparkle just because everyone else's can, you need to take the time to find the answers.. by yourself." Danaus chided. Diana, feeling defeated, had headed home.Letting thoughts wander, Diana had thought about everything. Sure, Diana knew she still had growing to do, but she felt stuck. Eyeing the 'News from Earth!' bulletin board on the way home, a brightly coloured flyer stuck out from the rest.Stepping closer, the teen eyed the flyer. Like a ray of sunshine, the answer appeared. The word 'Vtuber' stuck out. A sparkle appeared on her wings, getting Diana to beam with a smile. Vtubing could be the way to earn more stars! Not to mention, Diana could interact with a lot of 'humans' on Earth from their own home, and possibly even prove themselves to those important to them, AND start her journey to gain more stars, this could be her chance!With that, she grabbed the flyer. Diana had decided to try the Vtuber thing, but first a quick stop at the library! Was there a book for Vtubing she could find there?After a few hours of reading and setting up a social media account, Diana had become "Asuna Hina" online to start her journey to gain more stars on her wings.
